God’s Ministry International holds two-year memorial service for SY Mamamu

God’s Ministry International on Sunday held a special two-year memorial service of a lasting legacy in honour of Late Pa. Evangelist (Dr). Samson Youkore Mamamu, the founder of the church at the Salvation City Community (Idoun Tamara-Ama), New Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

GbaramatuVoice recalled that Late Pa. Evangelist (Dr). Samson Youkore Mamamu died on September 10, 2021 at the age of 91.

The coordinating minister, Pastor Edwin Boyi, described Late Pa. Mamamu, as a man of faith who dedicated his life to the service of God and humanity, urging people to live impactful lives so they can be remembered after death.

Speaking also, one of the daughters of the late cleric, Mrs. Clara Mamamu-Ibani stated that her late father was a “guiding star”. “He guild us through the work of God, he guild us in the truth, he guild us to be discipline, he guild us to be bold”.

According to her, Late Pa. Evangelist (Dr). Samson Youkore Mamamu is an indigene of Ogbe-Ijoh, the headquarter of Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta state and he had to leave Ogbe-Ijoh in order to fulfill his assignment which led him to establish God’s Ministry International Worldwide in 1978.

Also, the son of the late cleric, Hon. Faith Mamamu, stated that his father is a lover of faith during his lifetime and that is why there are crowd of people to witness the two year remembrance memorial.

“We the children, the grandchildren and the ministry we miss him so much.”

Also, a University don in Bayalsa State and a Son inlaw to Pa Mamamu, Dr. B.G Ibani described Late Pa. Evangelist (Dr). Samson Youkore Mamamu as “a great hero”.

Ibani therefore enjoined the children to follow the footsteps of their father because they can not afford to deviate from the already established path.
