The Publisher of GbaramatuVoice, a leading newspaper in the Niger Delta, Jacob Abai has been honoured with 2021 Media Personality of the Year Award.
The Award was bestowed on him by Arogbo-Ibe Entertainers during a colourful event held at the Arogbo cultural centre in Ondo State.
According to the organiser, Abai was adjudged the best among many equals nominated for the same category, given his exemplary records as founder and Chief Executive Officer of the GbaramatuVoice Media Group, a leading media organisation in the Niger Delta region.
Commenting on the award, the media guru commended the organizers of the award for the patriotic and industry lifting effort to identify deserving brands and personalities and to accord them the recognition, commendation and celebration that are due to them, adding that he counted himself lucky to have entered the Arogbo-Ibe’s Hall of Fame through the Arogbo-Ibe Entertainers Awards.
