It was a great moment of love as GbaramatuVoice Managing Editor, Asiayei Enaibo, tied the knot with his pretty bride, Emily Ekanpou, on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in a traditional ceremony in Effurun, Delta state.

The week long traditional marriage ceremony commenced on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in a grand style that has never been witnessed before in the whole Niger Delta region, as Asiayei Enaibo defied the raging flood and navigated in a canoe to pay Emily’s bride price at the once sleepy but now flood ravaged Akparemogbene community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state.

Asiayei Enaibo’s bravery and demonstration of undying love for Emily has since attracted commendation across the globe.

The Sunday, November 6, 2022, reception which took place at the Jubilee Retreat and Event Center in Effurun, Delta state, climaxed the weeklong celebration and was heavily graced by family members, friends, professional colleagues from the media within the state and beyond, public office holders, and accomplished businessmen/women, captains of industries particularly within the Oil and Gas sector.

The event was characterized by pomps and pageantry.
