Gbaramatu Prepares for the Final Farewell of 90-Year-Old Elder Clement Odu This Friday

…Survived by 102 Grandchildren

Gbaramatu Kingdom is set to bid a final farewell to Elder Clement Omole Eremengha Odu, who passed away at the age of 90. The burial rites are scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024, and will take place in his hometown of Bibopere Zion, Okerenkoko, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The day will begin at 9:00am with the departure of Snr. Boan. Odu’s body from Veenel Mortuary in Warri. It will be transported to Milla Waterside NPA before proceeding to Okerenkoko. The Christian wake-keeping will be held at his compound from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by the interment at 6:30pm. The social wake-keeping will continue until dawn.

On Sunday, September 1, 2024, a family thanksgiving service will be held at 8:00 AM in Bibopere Zion, marking the conclusion of the funeral activities.

Snr. Boan. Clement Omole Eremengha Odu is remembered for his significant contributions to the community and is survived by four wives, 22 children, 102 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
