The Gbaramatu Lawyers Association (GLA), the umbrella organization for legal practitioners in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has officially announced the schedule for its upcoming events: the Maiden Annual General Meeting (AGM), Mentorship Programme Inauguration, and End-of-Year Party.
These events will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Savvy Lounge, located at 40th Street, DDPA Estate, Ugborikoko, Effurun, Delta State.
In a statement signed by the association’s secretary, Werisinde Timiyan Esq., the day’s activities will commence at 3:00 PM with the AGM, where members will review the association’s activities, discuss current initiatives, and plan for the upcoming year. The inauguration of the Mentorship Programme will follow from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This programme is designed to support law graduates and Bar aspirants by connecting them with experienced legal professionals for guidance and mentorship in their careers.
The day will conclude with the End-of-Year Party starting at 6:00 PM, offering members a chance to reflect on the year’s accomplishments, socialize, and network with colleagues.
Law graduates and Bar aspirants are particularly encouraged to attend the Mentorship Programme inauguration, as it offers invaluable support for those entering the legal profession.
