Though planned to be a conventional wedding of two illustrious indigenes of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state, Mr. Victor Ebiyebo Tonlagha and Miss Esther Ebimoboere Odiki.
But looking at the level of preparations, it promises to be an occasion for who-is-who in Warri and the entire Niger Delta.
The wedding which is slated for Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Word of Salvation Bible Life Ministries, Effurun, Warri, Delta state has since taken a carnival-like dimension with the vast majority of the Gbaramatu indigenes outside the state indicating interest to return in order to witness the wedding.
The traditional rulers on their parts are not left out in this preparation even as the entire kingdom is wearing a new look with business owners and petty trade angling to close shop on that date to have a glimpse of the wedding.
Information gathered by our correspondent reveals that bridegroom, Mr. Victor Tonlagha , is a prominent businessman and the CEO, Victonjo Nigeria Limited, based in Warri and the younger brother of the Niger Delta based oil magnate, Sir Matthew Tonlagha, Executive Dircetor, FENOG Nigeria Limited, while Miss Esther Ebimoboere Odiki, an excellent scholar and a lecturer at the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, also in Delta state.
