Armed security operatives have surrounded the home of former managing director of the NDDC, Joy Nunieh, in Port Harcourt.
Rivers State Governor, Mr Nyesom Wike is reportedly moving to intervene in the stand-off.
It was gathered that the former NDDC boss is due to appear before a House of Representatives Committee in Abuja today.
