Late Pa Ewede William Seimode, who peacefully passed away at the age of 90, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Ogulagha, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, on Friday, March 22.
Survived by 14 children, 24 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, he was the beloved father of Barr. Friday Seimode, Member of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC), and several others including Capt. Nelson Isereke Seimode, Capt. Amos Seimode, Deacon Akpos Seimode, Chief Murphy Seimode, and Mr. Diamond Seimode.
The Seimode family, hailing from both Bayelsa and Delta states, announced the passing of their patriarch, Pa Ewede William Seimode, who peacefully departed on November 25, 2023.
As part of the burial arrangements, a service of songs is set for Wednesday, March 20, at 4:00pm, to take place at his compound near St. Mark Anglican Church in Ogulagha,
The funeral ceremony will take place on Friday, March 22, with the corpse leaving Veenell Hospital Mortuary at 8:00am to his hometown, Ogulagha, for lying-in-state at his residence.
The interment service will begin at 12:00 Noon at St. Mark Anglican Church, followed by entertainment for guests at 2:00pm at Ekpebiwei Primary School in Ogulagha.
While, a thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday, March 24, at 10:00am at St. Mark Anglican Church.
The burial arrangements were announced by Barrister P. K. Seimode on behalf of the children and Elder Richard Akuna for the family.
