EX-NIGER DELTA AGITATORS TO BUHARI: SACK BOROH NOW

• Says he is grossly incompetence 

A coalition of different ex agitators of the Niger Delta region in the Presidential Amnesty Programme have called on President Mohammadu Buhari for the immediate sack and replacement of the coordinator of the programme and Special adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Brig. Gen. Paul Boroh over the delay of their monthly stipends.

The group made the call today in Warri while reacting to what they described as deliberate act by Boroh in withholding their stipends.

Speaking on behalf of the group, James Amaebi noted that since the emergence of Paul Boroh, the programme have suffered severely under his watch as it has been one issue or the other.

He particularly accuses the Amnesty boss of gross incompetence, adding that such sensitive office is not for clueless fellows.

In his words ” We greatly regret the emergence of Paul Boroh as the Amnesty boss, since he came onboard we have suffered severely as he keeps telling us one issue or the other, this office is too sensitive for Boroh to handle, he is a failure and a huge disappointment already, how can we not be paid till this moment and not that there is no money ” Amaebi frowns. 

Meanwhile, the revered spokesman of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC worldwide, Barr. Eric Omare have also called on the authorities to immediately pay the ex agitators.

Speaking on the dangers associated with the delayed payments, Omare hinted that the situation portends a great danger for the country as due to the delayed payments, the boys cannot even listen to their masters should they go on rampage at any point, he added that “You can’t control someone that you are not paying as this is a big risk to us as a people especially at this point in time “
