#EndSARS: EGCDF postpones 2020 AGM

The Egbema-Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF) has announced the postponement of its 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) slated for October 29.

Chief Sheriff Mulade, the Foundation’s General Secretary, stated this on Monday in a notice to the public, stakeholders and communities.

“Due to the Security challenges in the Nation’s EndSARS Protest and the Foundation’s responsibility to protect the wellbeing of our stakeholders, members and staff, the leadership of Egbema-Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF) hereby announces the postponement of the Notice of Meeting of the 2020 Annual General Meeting dated October 29, 2020.

“Consequently, the 2020 Annual General Meeting which was previously scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the EGCDF Secretariat is hereby postponed.

“This decision has been taken in consultation with the stakeholders, security agencies as well as recent government advice on security.

“We apologize for the sudden postponement. A new Notice of Annual General Meeting of the Foundation will be published in due course.

“In this trying and uncertain period, the leadership of Egbema-Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF) would like to assure all our stakeholders, partners and host communities that we are here for you throughout the crisis and beyond.” said Mulade, the Foundation’s General Secretary.
