Delta state lawmaker, Guwor, gives account of stewardship
●Itemises over 22 projects he has built
●Provided Jamb forms for over 1000 students
The lawmaker representing Warri South-West constituency, in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has given an account of his stewardship to his constituents.
Hon. Guwor, in a statement he issued to GbaramatuVoice on Monday, stated that he contested for the position of a lawmaker because of his interest to serve the “good people” of Warri South-West constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.
The lawmaker stated that he has been able to perform a total of 22 projects in his constituency and he thanked the people of Warri South-West for their support.
The statement read: “In the year 2018, I decided to contest to represent my people, the good people of Warri South-West State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly. I did so because I wanted to serve my people, working together with them to deliver the future. And by an act of divine providence and the support of the youths, women, and elders we won at the fiercely contested primaries with a 6-percentile to beat the closest rival and crowned it all with a landslide victory at the general elections.

“This overwhelming support and love which represent the mandate of the people have been a key motivating factor in my untiring commitment to deliver the dividends of democracy to my people.
“Consequently, in the last two years and 8 months, I have done much to cover virtually all the areas that affect the social and economic well-being of my people — education, rural infrastructure, road, electricity, etc. and most importantly, engaging stakeholders and speaking on the floor of the Delta State House of Assembly on critical issues that affect my people.”
The scorecard which read from June 10, 2019, till March 2023 indicated that the federal lawmaker constructed three classroom blocks at Seashore Primary School, Ogidigben in Ward 10 and he also constructed three classroom blocks at Idiaba Primary School, Agogboro at Orere Ward 08.
Other educational projects to be constructed include, 4 classroom blocks and offices in Ikpere Primary School, Ugborodo, and three classroom blocks at Eri Primary School, Agogboro, among others.
The lawmaker, who is a lover of education has also provided JAMB form to 1000 students in Warri South-West State Constituency and renovated many schools in the constituency.
Also, Hon, Guwor, has also donated fishing boats with 40hp outboard engines, fishing nets, and other materials necessary for fishing to the Itsekiri communities (Wards) in Warri South-West LGA whose sole preoccupation is fishing.
Construction of roads and rural electrification are also part of the work done by the federal lawmaker.
The statement also pointed out that Hon. Guwor has also sponsored and co. sponsored some bills and some include Delta State Environmental Conservation Bill 2020 (HB. 23), Delta State Public Procurement Bill, 2020 (HB 10), Delta State House of Assembly Service (Establishment) Bill, etc.
