Delta South Seat: APC senatorial candidate, Joel-Onowakpo, takes campaign’s heat to Ejele’s hometown
…Laments poor state of schools, infrastructures in Ejele’s community
In line with his unrelenting effort to achieve a landslide victory in the forthcoming general election in Delta state, the Delta South Senatorial Candidate on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, on Thursday, took campaign to Ogheye in Warri North and Deghele in Warri South West Local Government Areas of the state, the hometown of Hon. Michael Diden aka Ejele, his arch-opponent for the senatorial position on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking at Deghele, Ejele’s maternal hometown, Joel-Onowakpo lamented the poor state of schools and other infrastructures that are necessary for human survival, promising to tackle the hydra-challenges if elected a senator in the forthcoming general election.
He therefore charged them to vote for him and all the APC candidates so that he will wipe out their tears by doing for them what their son cannot do over the years as a key member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the current Chairman of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC).
The senatorial hopeful was accompanied by High Chief Michael Johnny, Delta Ijaw APC leader; Hon. Tekedor Clement, Warri South-West House of Assembly candidate; Hon. Omatsoguwa Evans, Chairman JOT Campaign Committee; Hon. Beauty Warejuoweii; among others.
