Senator James Manager, who represents Delta South at the National Assembly, has advised Mr. William Angadi, the chairman-elect of Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, and the 20 elected councillors to leave indelible footprints while serving the people.
Manager, who spoke to journalist at Bomadi shortly after Mr. Sylvester Odogbo, the returning officer of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) for the local government polls, declared the Bomadi Council result, urging specifically the chairman-elect, who is elected for second term, to write his name in gold before he leaves office in 2024.
The senator, who was highly excited over the landslide victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the local government polls, stressed that the LG election was a build up for the general election in 2023, urging members of the party to remain firm.
Also, Mr. Nicholas Mutu, a House of Representatives member for Bomadi /Patani Federal Constituency, thanked and congratulated the chairman-elec,t Mr. Angadi, his vice, Chief Mrs. Flora Biripu, and the 20 elected councillors, tasking them on better service delivery to the people.
