Delta LG Polls: Gbaramatu community youths laud PDP; drum support for party

The youths of Opuede community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state, has expressed their appreciation to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The appreciation is in recognition of the party zoning of the Oporoza Ward Councillorship position to their community in the forthcoming local council polls in the state.

This was made known by the executive of the youth wing in a chat with GbaramatuVoice.

According to the youth president, Ernest Bouy, Opuede as a community within the Gbaramatu kingdom have been serially deprived of her political, social and economic rights since the creation of Delta state.

While appreciating God for this milestone, he then thanked the ward leaders, key stakeholders, and the entire Oporoza ward for their relentless effort.

He also called on all to give their unalloyed support that will help deliver the ward in the forthcoming elections.

In the same manner, Ezekiel John, the group’s Secretary stated that with this zoning, God has heard the cry of Opuede people by using the Ward Leaders, Key Stakeholders to wipe away tears of neglect.

According to him, it is a divine intervention from God to His children in Oporoza Ward.

He finally thanked the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in their ward for this awesome decision.

Still, in the same joyous mood, the group’s Public Relations Officer, Abraham Paulinus, thanked the entire people of Oporoza and encouraged everybody irrespective of interest or platforms to please join hands to deliver their ward to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), come January 2018.
