DELTA 2023: I’ll scrap all levies on Keke operators, provide free healthcare services to pregnant women – Ofehe, YPP guber Candidate
The Delta state governorship candidate of Young Progressive Party (YPP), Comrade Sunny Ofehe, has said that if elected governor, his administration will be the first governor to pay social benefits to under privileged Deltans, scrap all levies and taxes on keke riders, and other young people who has decided not to do crimes but are now being extorted in the name of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

Ofehe made this known when he appeared on GbaramatuVoice Election Headquaters recently.
While noting that he will first and foremost attracts Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) which he said will amount to $26 billion in his first one year.
The human right activist- turned politician boosted that he will be the first government in this country to pay social benefits to under privileged Deltans.
He said “In my tenure, I will raise one million people who will earn a minimum of ten thousand naira monthly as social benefits. I live in a system that has taught me the process of how it works. I enjoyed social benefits in the Netherlands for a period of 3 to 5 years, and I know the advantage that it had on me.
“I want to ensure we can provide the poor amongst us at least food. In my first hundred days in office, I will scrap all levies, and taxes, on keke riders, on our market people and young people who have decided not to do crimes and are now being extorted in the name of Internally Generated Revenue”
The Delta state governorship hopeful added that if elected, he will review the tuition fee in the state owned tertiary, primary and post primary institutions in order to make it affordable for parents.
“I am going to give pregnant women free healthcare services from conception till birth. and when the child is born till five years the child is going to have free healthcare services. As a government, I am going to ensure that my government brings back most of the relocated companies.”
He assured that his government will make Deltans feel the impact and for the first time they will be able to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
