COVID-19: Coalition of political leaders donate relief materials to Burutu (Photos)

Coalition of Burutu Political leaders under the auspices of Burutu House, has distributed palliative materials to all the eleven wards in the area as part of measures to cushion the adverse effects of the stay-at-home order caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The relief materials worth over 15milion Naira donated included bags of rice, cartons of Indomie, bags of beans, bags of garri, garlons of palm oil and bags of salts.

The distribution of the relief materials which took place in Warri today to various ward leaders, afforded the leaders ample opportunity to sensitise the people on the need to take precautions in this period to avoid being infected with the coronavirus.

Some of the leaders of the Burutu House present at the occasion included, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduba, Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Rt. Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Chief Julius Tekeme, Delta South PDP Chairman, Comrade Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, DESOPADEC, Hon. Daniel Yingi and others.
