BREAKING: Police arrest Niger Delta literary icon, Ekanpou Enewaridideke
A renowned Niger Delta literary icon and author of so many award winning novels, Ekanpou Enewaridideke, has been arrested and detained at the Ovwian/Aladja Police Station in Udu Local Government Area of Delta state.
A member of the family confirmed this to GbaramatuVoice on Saturday afternoon.
Though details of the arrest remain sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
The police authorities are yet to give reasons for his arrest.
When contacted, the Delta Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Bright Edafe said that he will find out.
