BREAKING: Coast clear for Goodluck Jonathan as court declares him free to run for 2023 presidential race
The coast may now have been finally cleared for former President Goodluck Jonathan to seek re-election, as Federal High Court in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, today, ruled that he is eligible to run for president in 2023.
The presiding judge, Justice Isa Hamma Dashen gave the judgement on Friday.
He also held that Jonathan’s right to vie for the office of president again cannot be stopped by any retroactive law.
