The Court of Appeal in Lagos, on Wednesday morming has upheld the victory of Rt (Hon) Rev Francis Ejiroghene Waive as the Honorable member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The ruling reaffirms his victory in the February 25th, 2023 elections.
Honorable Waive, in a statement expressing his appreciation, conveyed his profound gratitude to God and his constituents for the privilege of serving his people.
He also acknowledged the overwhelming support extended to him by the Constituency.
Furthermore, he praised the Justices of the Court of Appeal for their dedication to ensuring a fair hearing and judgment for an ordinary citizen, despite the absence of significant financial resources or influential connections.
Waive currently serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Rules and Business in the House of Representatives in Abuja.

Waive’s Facebook post aptly reflects the verdict: “The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos this morning re-affirmed my victory at the February 25th, 2023 polls as the undisputed winner of the election as Honorable member representing the entire people of Ughelli North Ughelli South Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. I am forever grateful to God Almighty for the privilege to serve my people.
