The Nigeria Maritime University (NMU) has appointed three principal officers to key administrative roles.
The Governing Council approved the appointments of the registrar, librarian, and bursar at its 21st meeting held on April 15, 2025, in Warri, Delta State.
The appointees are Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, Registrar; Abduldayan Fatimah Jibril, Librarian; and Gbe Tamaraudebaemi Justin, Bursar.
In a statement from the Chairman/Pro-Chancellor of the Governing Council, Abdullahi Bardi, the three individuals emerged as the top candidates after a rigorous interview conducted by an eight-member selection committee. The appointments were made in line with the university’s established regulations.
Bardi expressed the Council’s confidence that the newly appointed officers would contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and development of the Nigeria Maritime University.
