BAYELSA 2023: Why I’m coming back as governor – Timipre Sylva

The immediate past Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa state, Chief Timipre Sylva, provided  insight to why he is in the race to govern Bayelsa.

According to him, the need for efficient leadership delivery and provision  of sustainable development in the state informed  his decision.

In his words, “there is need for an experienced hand to take over Bayelsa and put the state on the path of development”.

Sylva, a former Governor of the state and frontline contender for the November 11, 2023 governship election in the state made this assertion in an interactive session with GbaramatuVoice and other selected media houses in Yenagoa, the state capital.
