APC PRIMARIES: Aspirants, delegates raise alarm over hijack of materials in Burutu North Constituency
Prince Marvel Ebikeme, and other aspirants of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Burutu North Constituency of Delta State, have raised the alarm over alleged hijack of materials meant for the conduct of the party’s state House of Assembly primary in the constituency.

According Prince Ebikeme, as of 9.05am on Friday, May 27, aspirants, members and delegates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Burutu North Constituency, who converged in Kiagbodo town, venue for the party’s primary for the house of assembly candidates were yet to vote due to the non-arrival of the voting material for exercise meant for Thursday, 26 May, “yet no election materials and no party officials on ground.”
According to them, out of the three aspirants pencilled for the exercise, two of them— Prince Marvel Ebikeme, and Prince Owei Bomiegha, have been on ground since Thursday. The third aspirant is nowhere to be found prompting concerns they may have hijacked the materials along with some unknown persons.
The two other aspirants, meanwhile, have sent a Save Our Soul (SOS) message to the leadership of the party in the state and national, security agencies and the relevant authorities on the anomaly calling for it to be corrected immediately.
