This is to officially inform the general public and the esteemed people of Gbaramatu, Ogulagha, Diebiri Kingdoms, and Ofunama community in Egbema Kingdom, all in Delta State, of the peaceful passing onto glory of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Pa. Meeting Uguakpemi Okoro, fondly known as Osumoru-Ikpokpo, a revered figure in Gbaramatu Kingdom. His sudden demise occurred on Friday, February 9th, 2024, at the remarkable age of 100 years, following a brief illness.
While we mourn the loss of our dear patriarch, we find solace in celebrating a life well-lived and surrendering to God’s will in this time of grief.
Further details regarding the burial arrangements, including the date, will be communicated at a later time.
May his gentle soul find eternal rest – Amen.
