In a move that is akin to official abuse of office and clear injustice,  a member of the Delta State Security and Waterways Committee, Hon. Simeon Bebenimibo and his younger brother are still been held up in detention, four days after they were both whisked away by some people believed to be security agents.

Reliable reports said that Hon. Bebenimibo, a community leader and known man of peace, with his younger sibling, are languishing in a holding facility, on the strength of some trumped-up charges that has not been revealed to them or members of their family.

The wife of Ernest Bebenimibo, has cried out to the Federal Government to effect the release of her husband and his brother immediately.

Mrs Loveth Bebenimibo lamented that her husband who is a legitimate businessman is being treated like a common criminal.

She said; “I need my husband now. He is the only breadwinner we have. I beg President Muhammadu  Buhari to please  release my husband. Those who arrested my husband should release my husband immediately”.

”It is a pity that this sort of thing is still happening in the country, despite the fact the Federal Government that has a senior member of the bench as its Vice President.
