His Excellency, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State, acting as the Special Guest of Honour, on Friday, December 3rd, joined other eminent personalities within and outside the state to attend the 90th anniversary celebration of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) at the Urhobo Cultural Centre in Uvwiamuge, Agbarho.
Also in attendance were Olorogun Dr. Moses Taiga, President General, Urhobo Progress Union (UPU); Chief James Ibori, former Governor of Delta State; Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly; HRM Richard Layaeguen Ogbon (JP) OON, the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom & Chairman Council of Urhobo Traditional Rulers – Arch Bishop Godowell Awomakpa; Kings of the 24 Urhobo kingdoms, prominent personalities from all walks of life and other socio-cultural organisations in Nigeria.
