As part of the plan for the forthcoming GbaramatuVoice 6th Anniversary, Lecture/Niger Delta Awards, slated for Tuesday August 10, 2021, at the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, the management of the news organization, on Friday May 7, 2021, stormed/visited the Abuja home of Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, the Ijaw National Leader and the National Leader and Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT), Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF).

More remarkably, having been hosted in venues such as the Abuja Transcorp Hilton Hotels, Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt, Rivers state, and attracts dignitaries from all sectors within and outside the country, the GbaramatuVoice Lecture/Niger Delta Awards remains an annual landmark and biggest media event from the Niger Delta region.
Led by its Publisher, Jacob Abai, the team was at the house of the foremost nationalist to formally brief him as an elder statesman about the forthcoming programme and to seek his support and blessing.
In a related development, the GbaramatuVoice train was at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, yesterday, where they also met with, and held useful deliberations about the forthcoming 6th Anniversary/Niger Delta Awards, with some of the nation’s lawmakers.
It would be recalled that we reported recently that this year’s edition of the annual event tagged ‘Lagos Edition’ will take place on Tuesday August 10, 2021, at the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
