It was a day of joy and transformation on Thursday, June 13, 2025, as 100 participants graduated from a five-day intensive skills acquisition programme organized by Top Private Security Services Limited in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in Warri, Delta State.

The training, held from June 9 to 13 along Odion Road, focused on in-demand vocational skills including makeup, barbing and dreadlocks, manicure, and pedicure. Each participant received a complete starter pack to help them kickstart their journey toward entrepreneurship and self-reliance.

The graduation ceremony witnessed the presence of notable guests such as Commodore Omatseye Nesioma (Rtd), Executive Vice Chairman of Top Private Security Services Limited, Mr. Festus Erubore, NCDMB Training Coordinator for Warri who represented the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Felix Ogbe, Dr. Mrs. Ebere Udeh, Chief Training Development Officer, Tamunotonye Pamela, founder of Eritage Africa, and Reverend JC Okoroji (Jnr), PhD, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Warri.

The convener of the programme, Commodore Omatseye Nesioma (Rtd), in his remarks, appreciated the invited guests for their presence and support. He thanked God for making the event possible and expressed a strong desire to continue reaching more people through initiatives like this. “I want to thank my invited guests for coming. I thank Almighty God for making it possible. I also pray that we will have the possibility to touch lives, to enable purposes, and to affect destinies positively,” he stated.

Dr. Mrs. Ebere Udeh, speaking to the participants, warned against selling their starter packs. She stressed that the value of their training and certificates extended beyond local borders, saying that people abroad are seeking such certifications and that participants should maximize the opportunity they have received.

Facilitators Mrs. Adeyinka Emeka, MD/CEO of Cira Moor Unisex Salon & Spa, and Mrs. Wendy Temple, MD/CEO of WeeBee Beauty, led the different training sessions and acknowledged the best-performing students during the ceremony.

For many of the graduates, the programme was more than just a training—it was a life-changing experience. With their new skills and tools in hand, they are now equipped to build businesses, support their communities, and shape a better future for themselves.
