The Management of GbaramatuVoice newspaper has said that it will commence an environmental reporting tour of the Niger Delta on June 24 and needs the public cooperation.
The Manager, Mr. Joseph Nwoye of this leading and best circulating community tabloid in the Niger Delta, made this known on June 20, at its corporate office in Warri, Delta state.
According to Mr. Nwoye, “Starting from Monday, June 24, 2019, the GbaramatuVoice newspaper, the leading and best circulating community tabloid in the Niger Delta, will commence a reporting tour of the communities in the area.
“We will centre our research on effects on oil pollution, environmental degradation, gas flaring, mangrove degradation, polluted arable farm land, livelihood,
etcetera on Niger Deltans.”

Mr. Nwoye, however made known the starting point of the reporting team during the tour.
“We would be starting from Egbema kingdom in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State. Later dates, we will be visiting the riverine communities in Bayelsa, Edo, Ondo and Rivers States. But we might not cover the areas in the Niger Delta we have in mind except we get the grant we needed.
