Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council of Delta State, Hon. Godknows Angele, has urged the people of the area to be steadfast with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2019, “he is our Governor, vote Okowa for more dividends of democracy in 2019.”
While felicitating with the people of Delta State on the occasion of the state’s 27th year anniversary Hon. Angele said: “We have experienced a serious developmental stride and we have enjoyed the dividends of democracy for the past works.
“At least everybody can see clearly, that the name given to the man is ‘Road Master’. I think by God’s grace his excellency is moving the train forward.”
Hon. Angele reiterated that Okowa’s administration is focused on the SMART Agenda of prosperity for all Deltans for fair share of the dividends of democracy to the people.
According to him, Burutu definitely, will key into the SMART Agenda. “Today, we have 305 employees now working in Burutu I employed them under six months, health center, water project and electricity everyday.
“All those are the jobs under 100 days in office which I commissioned, and by God’s grace today we just key into the SMART Agenda.
“Because health is wealth, we bought health equipment that can cover more than ten health centers, still in store to be distributed. So, we are moving forward.
“Definitely, if you are working in Delta State as a council chairman, you have to key into SMART Agenda and that is what we have done as a result of a good governor who cares about the people and it is the responsibility of local government chairmen to emulate the footsteps of the governor at the grassroots in addressing their common needs.
“Delta State at 27 years has experienced some level of peace and development in terms of social infrastructure in the riverine communities.”
