GBARAMATU MONARCH CONTINUES PEACE MOVES

…visits Egbema Kingdom, Sunday to preach unity

…to pray for Ijaw nation

The Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II (Aketekpe, Agadagba) started where he left off last year, with a message of peace and unity among all residents of the Niger Delta.

This is in continuation of his efforts to  preach peace across the Niger Delta.

The frontline Ijaw traditional ruler, will visit Ajakurama community in Egbema Kingdom, Edo State on Sunday to intensify his efforts to ensure unity and oneness among his subjects and others.

A statement by the spokesman of the Gbaramatu Traditional Council, Chief Godspower Gbenekama, disclosed that the Pere visited several Ijaw communities in the Niger Delta to preach peace and unity last year and that his Sunday’s visit is in tandem with this objective.

The statement also explained that the Pere will use the occasion to pray for the Ijaw Nation.
